LMNOP PUBLISH ME! Do you have an illustrated / photographic / typographic book which you would like to be published?
We are looking for artists / designers / illustrators to work with us to produce an exciting new publication. We are looking for people who are using illustration, photos and design in interesting ways to tell a story or engage an audience. Words are also allowed, although we would like the focus to be on the visuals.
It should be a work of art in its own right!
You can submit your project directly to our website here, successful nominations will be given their own page on the site.
Once nominated the public are able to ‘vote’ for your work to be published. There more votes a work receives the more likely we are to publish it!
Image maker extraordinaire Nick White came to Brighton town recently and was nice enough to drop off some of his work to the LMNOP shop. We were so pleased about having our grubby mitts on the illustrated wares of Mister White that we decided to catch up with him so we could interrogate him about his infamous media collection, his high functioning funny bone and where he sees himself in the next ten years time…
CLOSING DATE IS THE 14th OCTOBER 2011, WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY THE 21st OF OCTOBER FOR FULL INFORMATION VISIT LMNOP SHOP HERE A Year of Self-Motivation, is exactly what we all need. Self-motivation is a constant battle; you have a dream! Unfortunately you also have a day job, and if only you could turn the TV off and start *delete as applicable* drawing / writing / practising / training it will happen. Help us all to help ourselves - what keeps you going? We are not thinking awe inspiring sunsets, no, what are the small things in life which aid your day and keep you motivated, what are the distractions and how do you battle them? We are looking for a 3 colour illustration around the theme of self motivation. We will judge the submissions on their own merit, not your previous CV or client list. We are looking for illustrations which amuse us and ring a bell of truth about the struggle we face as ambitious, creative people, who are alas, only human and sometimes lazy and easily distracted. We are also looking for people who can work creatively with the Risograph process. 12 Submissions will be chosen to feature in the calendar, which will be sold in our own Brighton and online shop and some very exciting selected shops (more details coming soon on this). Each winning artist will receive two copies of the calendar and will be fully credited within. Eliza Fricker’s zines and prints - also good to see Liz Lake there, we have some of her work in LMNOP Shop! We look forward to the next one!

Whilst we are waxing lyrical about cards in stock, we have to also shout about Nicola Rowlands greeting cards we are selling.
If you do need a reason to send a card and find yourself without friends with upcoming birthdays, it is in fact, Sylvester Stallone, George Bush and 50 Cent’s birthday tomorrow. That’s a choice of three. A first class stamp might be needed mind you.
See below a few examples of the cards we have here at the Lmnopshop. We think they are lovely. We think that 50 cent would like the one with the beards.

Cards by Elly Strigner now available in our shop.
Do you really need to have a reason for sending a card? We at LMNOP love these creepy and whimsical greeting cards made not just for birthdays. Go on, pop in and pick one up. You could be one stamp and a lick away from cheering up a friend.
A lick on the stamp, not on the friend. Unless they are that kind of friend.
